YIDA New Model Numbers for 2010
Dear YIDA Agent:
Customer feedback in previous years has indicated that YIDA machine tool users are often confused about the relationship between YIDA machines’ model numbers and their specifications. While we regard this issue as a minor one, the following outlines our strategy for addressing the problem.
As well, you may already be aware that YIDA has applied for CE certification, and we expect to pass CE certification standards in 2010. CE certification means a new beginning for our machine tools, which includes improved designs to protect operator safety. Therefore, we would like to take this opportunity to change YIDA machine model numbers to make them more meaningful for customers and users.
These changes will proceed in a step by step fashion to allow everyone affected to get used to the new numbers. In situations where older models will undergo a number change, these machines will be shipped with the old model number earmarked for easy reference. Operator manuals will also reference old model numbers temporarily.
Future spec sheets will appear as follows, with new and old model numbers listed on the tables.
